About position

We're seeking an experienced IT Lifecycle Engineer with strong English and German skills to join a Workplace Transformation project for a leading client in the transportation industry. If you have hands-on experience in managing IT asset and service lifecycles, are familiar with ITIL processes, and enjoy coordinating cross-functional teams in an international setting – we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Lifecycle Management or a related operational IT role
  • Working knowledge of ITIL (Intermediate level is a plus) and experience within a Service Management Framework
  • Strong skills in managing SLA and KPI metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience working with lifecycle management systems or IT asset management tools
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, both with technical and non-technical teams
  • Fluent in English and German (required)
  • Self-driven attitude, ownership mindset, and ability to handle pressure in dynamic environments

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in operational support transition (onboarding new services into support)
  • Familiarity with tools supporting Lifecycle Management (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • Experience in service reporting and escalation handling
  • Understanding of compliance and IT security within corporate environments
  • Previous involvement in international transformation or workplace projects

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets and services, using standards such as ITIL and Service Management Framework
  • Handle tickets and service requests in line with Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes
  • Organize and lead lifecycle-related meetings within the project structure (SCRUM / Waterfall methodologies)
  • Coordinate actions across technical and business teams, including handling back-out plans and change approvals
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding lifecycle issues, risks, and updates
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports using MS Excel and reporting tools
  • Maintain accurate process documentation and training materials
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
