DevOps & QA – Internship / Traineeship (unpaid)

About position

The internship includes work in the areas of DevOps, automation, manual and integration testing, as well as support in building and monitoring CI/CD processes.
The team works in the Agile/SCRUM methodology, and DevOps environments are centralized and developed using modern containerization and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems and working in the terminal.
  • Knowledge of Git and working with a code repository.
  • Basic understanding of containerization – images, containers, Dockerfile.
  • Understanding of application and API testing principles.
  • Ability to analyze problems and logically diagnose errors.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a SCRUM team.
  • Ability to read technical documentation.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools – GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
  • First steps in test automation (Selenium, Playwright).
  • Own projects, tasks, or GitHub repositories.
  • Interest in new technologies and trends in DevOps and QA.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the team in maintaining development and test environments.
  • Participating in the configuration of CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
  • Preparing and running Docker containers.
  • Analyzing application errors, working with logs, and basic diagnostics on Linux systems.
  • Manual testing of web interfaces and APIs.
  • Creating test cases and test documentation.
  • Participating in regression, integration, and functional testing.
  • Automating tasks using simple Bash or Python scripts.
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuously staying up to date with new technologies and trends in DevOps and QA.
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
